Four of the men who suffered catastrophic adverse reactions in a drug trial that went disastrously wrong now face developing cancer or serious autoimmune diseases, according to a scientific report commissioned by their lawyers.
The four are among six healthy young men who were given an experimental drug called TGN1412 in its first human trial to test for safety on 13 March in London, UK. Within minutes the six men who took the drug were reportedly writhing in pain. Two others who took a placebo were unaffected.
